It didn't seem corporate to me, but it did seem austere and Pearl-y. The bathrooms were pretty neat. Service was indifferent--but it was friday night at midnight so they were probably just tired.

I really like how the "kids section" is totally cut off from the rest of the dining room. I'm sure that if you have a kid you can sit anywhere you want, but when I was there everyone with a kid was in the same section so it didn't feel like Laurelwood. The food was very good, which surprised me because I had heard otherwise elsewhere. It's insanely busy starting at about 5pm. Get there early.

Is it true that they are under new management/ownership? I never see the old owner anymore, and it looks like they are currently renovating the interior. I stopped going there about a year ago because their bartenders seemed too rude to deal with.
