this is my favorite place on Alberta.
friendly staff, not smokey or noisy.
great food. great beer. great happy hours.
serves later than most other restaurants on the street during weekdays.
oh and i'm addicted to the hummus plate .

Bernie's Southern Bistro Portland, OR
Bernie's has the most amazing cocktails. The food, however, has always been a disappointment. It's bland and watered down tasting. I always feel like I am eating at a place that caters to the palettes of retirees in Palm Springs. You can't mess up fried chicken with mashed potatoes, too bad, though - so that's a safe bet. Did I mention all the creative, tasty cocktails?

I'm addicted to the hummus plate here. At happy hour you can get that and a beer for about $6. Lots of other choices - plenty of vegetarian, too. This is a really relaxed place. Can't wait for the warm weather so I can enjoy their ample outdoor space.
