Caldera Portland, OR

Regardless of the quality of the building (which is lovely) I can't really recommend much about Caldera. As someone who lives in the area (~47th & Stark) I wanted to like this place. The building is historic and well done, the owner is known to other local business owners; there's a lot to want to like. However, the food (on both occasions I've been) is some of the worst in PDX. Just not good. Shrimp undercooked, rice-a-roni style rice, and service which leaves a lot to be desired. I hope the place improves because I love the idea of a local neighborhood restaurant in my part of SE.
