No longer located here. It's now Calypso. Same decor, including peanut shells on the floor. Similar OK-ish food. Similar "island-time" crap service.

It is a dependable neighborhood bar, which I go to pretty often. But I've got to already be drunk, otherwise the smoke would drive me away.

Leaky Roof Global Bistro Portland, OR
Uneven and kinda weird service, albeit this was only one visit. "Oh sorry, we just tossed out the coffee" instead of something like "let me make you a fresh pot so you can both have Irish Coffees" doesn't get high marks. The burger was ordinary at best, but the stuffed pork tenderloin was very good.

They are way slow, especially with any sort of big group. But nice drinks, and one of the better burgers in town, and very tasty fried calamari (with peppers mixed in), too.
