Space is gorgeous, food sucks. Ran out of oysters too.
Went in with great expectation, Bar, exposed brick and B&W tile floor --- all great ambience, service was fine too but our food totally UNDERWHELMING:
$6 burger was a tiny sliver of indistinguishable meat overwhelmed by a nondescript roll and the $5 Cesar Salad was also an extremely small portion with a strip or two of chicken.
Great place, live music, interesting menu if a bit limited for their happy hour. Otherwise a brilliant, classy place that seems from another time and place--in a good way.
To city-wide delight – the legend has reappeared! It really is a beautifully done space with black and white checkerboard floors, giant gilded-gold mirrors, and yes – award-winning crayon art. The atmosphere is lively, yet romantic, kinda like Paris at night.
