13-Apr-10Wow I have lived in portland all my life and was so impressed with this place. Great food, drinks and in everyone's price rang. So busy and the wait staff was on top of things, the blond behind the bar was great not only did she take care of us at the bar but was able to handle the entire room. The burger was great and so was the martini I had to wash it down with.

06-Apr-10This place has great deals on PBR. The happy hour is very popular and very well priced. Personally, I like the Mac & Cheese! The Patio in the back makes this location perfect when the weather gets nice. This is a great place to get the night started because it is centrally located on Hawthorne. People should check this place out if they are in the area.

23-Jul-09Somehow the Gold Dust still manages to pour pints of PBR for $1 each. I'm not sure if this is a happy hour special or not, but my tab for both me and a friend was only $2. You can't beat that!

22-Jul-09Too bad cuz it has potential, but this place blows. Mega-rude table service from that mean little Oompa Loompa waitress. They don't appear to want you there at all unless you're of the hipster persuasion. Ironically, they are the ones who squat there drinking Pabst, spending as little as possible. The people that are there to actually spend money have to contend with servers who don't want to wait on them.
Oh and nice job turning away that wedding party last wknd. They were talking about that at Hawthorne Theater. Figures you guys are A-holes on their special day. They proceeded to spend a lot of $ there. Guess you didn't want it.
