I had the McCormick and Schmick's happy hour burger a few days ago.. wow, what a deal. $2 gets you a big, high-quality burger and a bunch of fries. Of course, the drink prices aren't discounted, so you'll end up paying there..

The half-pound burger is one of the best happy hour food deals in PDX, available at their Harborside brewpub (Full Sail) and Jake's Grill too. The beer selection includes a rotation of small OR and WA micros, I discovered Fish Tale organic here (now my favorite!). The "jambalaya" is actually a gumbo with a pile of rice in the middle, etouffe-style; it's good but be warned that it's not like what you'd get at Chicago's Heaven On Seven. The Ahi Tuna Roll for $2 is four tuna maki, not the large tempura roll for $4 at their Harborside location.
