Description

$3 drafts. That's everything from American lagers to Guinness. Also $1 off food and wells.

Berbati's

They've raised their prices, so don't get too excited about the $2 beers - it's $3 now. Food is ok, not anything to get too excited about.

Berbati's

If you like $2 New Castle, Sierra Nevada, or Bud Light on tap, this is the place to go. The hummus pita stuff is good too (and cheap). They have outdoor seating for all you folks who like the outdoors. Also, beware of clowns.

Berbati's

I went here because my friend's band was playing. I paid for an ok $8 burger and over priced beer. I wouldn't go there unless they were playing again for free.

I have to agree that the New Castle at Berbati's is very good. I don't know why, but it sure tasted better than the usual to me. Also, at $2 for any pint, Berbati's has one of the best beer deals around.

Berbati's

Actually, the happy hour is at Berbati's bar rather than the Pan, which is the live music venue. Details aside, this is an amazing value with the food ($3 gyros, $1 fries) and drinks ($2 draft, even Lagunitas IPA or Fat Tire amber). The falafel gyro was fine although I never saw it in small cubes back east in Chicago or Toronto, but Berbati's is Greek rather than Lebanese. I'll give the lamb gyro on my next visit ... I'm kicking myself that after moving here three years ago, I only discovered this place today (thanks to this site) despite walking past it many times!

Overall, a great happy hour. The free pool is probably the best part, but the cheap beers and food are nice too. The falafel wasn't too great, but the other food was good. Unlike the last reviewer, I didn't find anything magical about the newcastle tap - same old newcastle IMHO, but I do appreciate the Lagunitas tap. I went on sunday, and the place was almost empty which was nice.

The Berbati's Happy Hour is one of the best in town. Great Greek food and nice people. $2 tap beers and $3.50 gyros. Excellent salads and fries. You can pig out and have several beers for under $15 including tip. Plus their tap for Newcastle is magical, you will never have a better Newcastle then you will at Berbati's.
