We've notice that Solo appears to have closed its doors during the work week and are now open only on weekends. That's unfortunate, since they are no longer part of the neighborhood and cater only to the the bridge and tunnel crew.

SoLo just keeps getting better. When they first opened I had my doubts that a small, hard-to-find restaurant and bar underneath OfficeMax would be successful, especially with On Deck in the same building. But SoLo thrived in the summer with their frequent live music on the patio (which is in front of OfficeMax, another reason I thought SoLo might have some trouble), unique food selection, and great happy hour drink deals. On a Friday or Saturday night, they gather quite a crowd of patrons for such a small place, making it a fun place to get a drink and meet people.

UPDATE: beware of the $7 draft pints. Yes, they charge as much as a baseball game for a beer, at least on Friday night.
