I have been going to the Ear for years. It is a place where the learn your name, your drink and they love to chat about music. It has a nice feel and I know several ladies who say it is one of the few places that they feel comfortable going to by themselves. I really appreciate the Happy Hour drink discounts and the half-price appetizers are very good (as is the regular menue).
They also have one of the largest beer, bourbon and scotch menues in town!

Went here for the first time last Friday since it was near home. The band was warming up for the whole hour we were there. It was like ear torcher. The guy beat on the bass drum for literally 10 minutes straight. Don't know what it would be like on a normal day, but I don't think we'll be back any time soon.
