Lots of people love Saburo's. I am not one of them. The fish is average at best and the over-sized rolls are difficult to eat. They fall apart easily and look unappealing on the plate. Sushi should be as much a visual treat as it is a tasty meal. Saburo's can keep their giant messes, I'll happily pay a little more for artfully crafted nigiri made from exceptionally fresh fish.

The virgin Saburo's goer always over-orders. The portions here are huge. Be prepared to tone it down a notch. No need to show off. The quality of the fish is average, but overall this is sushi at a great value.
