This place is very intimate. Went there for lunch, and though just a tad spendy, was worth every penny. I was there for a business lunch, so I wasn't drinking. Ambience was very nice. I'd head back any time to check out dinner.
12-Mar-08Although it doesn't appear this way from the outside, the Leaky Roof is a cozy little restaurant and bar. Great food.
22-Jun-07Uneven and kinda weird service, albeit this was only one visit. "Oh sorry, we just tossed out the coffee" instead of something like "let me make you a fresh pot so you can both have Irish Coffees" doesn't get high marks. The burger was ordinary at best, but the stuffed pork tenderloin was very good.
22-Feb-07The Leaky Roof has great food, great service, and they made me one of the best Manhattans I've had in a while.
10-Dec-06This is a wonderful Irish style pub. A recent change of ownership has brought an entirely new atmosphere to this place. Patrons can now expect Sheppard’s Pie (done right!), Filet Mignon and Fresh Berry Romanoff in addition to old favorites like the buffalo burger. My friend Seamus now owns this place and has a way of making people feel as though they are in Ireland while they are there. I suppose his Irish accent helps with that. In fact, by the time I leave I half expect to be walking out onto the Emerald Isle. Tuesday and Saturdays are the best nights to come as my friend Erin Adkisson, a VERY talented local musician plays on those evenings with Seamus’ younger brother, Connor. I definitely recommend coming to check them play so that some day you can tell your children “I knew her when”.
