This place is under new ownership now, the service has gone down hill, the food is not up to the standards it was before and the prices have almost doubled on most items. I had lunch there today as I have done 100 times before and I always order the same thing. My bill that was always $24.00 for 2 was $42.00, and a place that used to always have a huge lunch crowd had only 2 tables at 12:30.

The Green Papaya is one of the only ma and pa run restaurants in downtown Portland. They stay open late and make drinks to please. They also have a good selection of late night food items. If you're lucky they will even break out a DJ.
