The Green Room has some of the best BBQ in Portland. They have a wide variety of house-made sauces to choose from. The bartenders are great and jovial. They have a tiny patio in the back that is a little cramped, but a good escape from the smoke.
However, I'm not a fan of their entertainment and always try to leave before it begins.

Tiny place, probably seats around 40 people, so get there early. Cheap & Stiff drinks, good local music, nice mix of people. Cool Bartenders. Recommended.

The Green Room is one of my favorite places to get some really good barbecue (I especially like the brisket sandwich and the ribs, both of which are very reasonably priced), drink a beer, and listen to some live music. They have Karaoke on Sundays, open mic on Mondays, a Portland Songwriter Showcase on Tuesdays, and Blues on Thursdays. The other days have live music as well.
