Dropped into Masu for their happy hour, awaiting goodness. I had been often when they first opened and loved the warm, clean atmosphere, and uncomplicated food (cucumber water is a bonus!). I was a bit disappointed in my last visit. Yeah, the deals are sound, but the hot food was mediocre at best, and the cocktails, just okay. I would recommend the sushi and suggest sitting at either bar. Worthy of another try, but not at the top of my list.
28-Oct-09This is the best sushi in town hands down, so if you are lucky enough to catch the happy hour menu take advantage of it!
19-Jul-09Masu's happy hour is pretty short, but it's completely worth it. We sat in front of the sushi chef and ordered the daily nigiri ($3 per order of 2 pieces) and they were executed with elegance. The selection when we went were hamachi (yellowtail), shrimp and albacore tuna. They also had the bobby lo roll and squeel roll ($5) which were delicious!! Love it!
04-Nov-08Masu has a great atmosphere and one of the best food happy hours in my opinion. In particular, their $3 hand roll specials are a great value and are worth the late night journey.
It's a good idea to always call Masu before stopping by to see if they are indeed open for business. On more than one occasion I have been disappointed to find that they are closed for a private party.
23-Oct-06Great happy hour selection, delicious food. Usually offer a couple of different types of sushi, so there is something for everyone.
