The beer is definitely worth 3.50 per pint and their food is awesome with a great price. Try the IPA, if we can't think of somewhere new to try we always end up back here. Definitely my favorite IPA and happy hour in Portland.

Happy hour at Hopworks is a ripoff. $3.50 for a pint is no deal at all.

I really like how the "kids section" is totally cut off from the rest of the dining room. I'm sure that if you have a kid you can sit anywhere you want, but when I was there everyone with a kid was in the same section so it didn't feel like Laurelwood. The food was very good, which surprised me because I had heard otherwise elsewhere. It's insanely busy starting at about 5pm. Get there early.

Tasty food and nice atmosphere. This place is a great addition to Powell.

I stopped by Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) last night (March 25, 2008) for their grand opening. It was absolutely packed to say the least. We waited for 45 minutes to get our first beer, but it was well worth it. With their superb brewing prowess, excellent food and this new brewpub, HUB is likely to gain the title as one of Portland's best breweries. We'll see if Deschutes is welcomed with as much publicity when they open their brewpub in the Pearl District on May 2, 2008.
